COMMUNITY REVIEWS
fabulous movie based on true events submitted by Jackie77 on August 23, 2015, 1:27pm This was a very good movie. The story is quite sad. Heartbreaking telling of Nazi invasion and the thefts of the Jewish belongings that were coveted by the Nazi's. Decades later family members fought to get back artwork that survived. The actors were great and complimented each other well. The wardrobes fit well for the time periods being portrayed. Helen Mirren was fabulous in her role.
Watch it! submitted by hdove on June 18, 2016, 11:40am Very interesting story based on true events. Portrays a new perspective of those who lost so much during the war.

excellent submitted by rjsjwilliams on July 2, 2018, 4:18pm Based on a true story, the Nazis stole many treasures, art. jewelery, anything they could get their hands on and thought was important. Helen Mirren plays the lady who goes after a Klimpt picture that was in her family. She uses a young lawyer, and takes her case to the U.S. Supreme Court and to the Austrian government. Excellent movie
