Great study guide for amateur radio license submitted by keden on August 14, 2017, 9:54am I found this guide perfect in helping me study for the Technician Class amateur radio license test. The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual (http://www.aadl.org/catalog/record/1476192) was a bit too dense for me since I'm a complete newbie to electronics and radios, and I was having a hard time picking out what I needed to memorize. Dan's book helped me focus on learning exactly what would be on the test. I did a lot of looking up things I was uncertain about online or asking other people but overall it was a much better experience for me than getting socked with a lot of information and not knowing what to study. I also loved having this book as an e-book on my ipad mini so I could study in any free minutes without having to lug around the heavy ARRL manual. This book is sparse on visuals or explanations so be prepared to supplement by looking things up on wikipedia. I've already starting using Dan's other study guide to help me prepare for the General Class license test.
