YPSILANTI—Dr. Wayne Whitaker, assistant professor of anatomy at the University of Michigan, and president of the board of the Ann Arbor Co-operative Association, spoke before the members of the Ypsilanti Co-operative Society at a meeting held last night in the high school building,

At the meeting, plans for action to cut costs in the areas of housing and food were discussed. possibility of co-operative action in the building of homes was sketched, but no definite action was taken. A new plan of the CIO for co-operative food distribution also was outlined.
