First Reported From Area: The News traditionally depicts the first deer-season success reported to it. This new season, Archer Gerald Quackenbush, 306 Gralake, was No. 1. He dropped the big (130-150 pound) doe near Marston in Wexford County on the second day of the bow-and-arrow season now under way. Quackenbush and the other archers report "it's a good year."
