Hydroelectric Power: Up to 38,000,000 of 646,481,000 kilowatt hours used last year came from a chain of four Detroit Edison hydroelectric plants on the Huron River. They are similar to this one at Superior Station near Ypsilanti. Most of the electricity used in the Ann Arbor district comes from sources near Detroit.
