SPEWED STEW: Bam! went last night's dinner at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Stuart M. Gould, jr., of 2309 Yost Blvd., Pittsfield Park, when a pressure cooker full of stew exploded on the gas range. John, 5 1/2, and Michael, 7 1/2, point to the lid of the pressure cooker embedded in the kitchen ceiling. No one was hurt in the accident. The two boys and their two sisters were in an adjacent room, and Mrs. Gould was at a nearby kitchen counter at the time. The force smashed the burner of the stove.

At Art Fair: This ghoulish apparition seen stalking the booths of the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair is advertising the makeup artistry of the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. Makeup demonstrations are held at 3 and 7 p.m. daily. Underneath the fangs and shadows of theatrical greasepaint here is Michael Gould of 2030 Hill St., who has been active in the Junior Theatre and has appeared in Civic Theatre productions of "Oklahoma!" and "Sunrise at Campobello."
