Hundreds of youngsters staged a costumed parade through Pittsfield Village by way of announcing that the Pittsfield-Mitchell Parent Teacher Group will sponsor a public chicken barbecue at Mary D. Mitchell School on Pittsview Dr. from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday. "Ricky," a television clown, will appear during the event and there will be a kiddie train ride on the premises.
