The Fourth Of July Fireworks Display At Buhr Park, July 1963
Caption: Siss-Boom-Ah! Top picture illustrates how the fireworks last night looked close-up at Buhr Park. Those who didn't want to buck the crowd (bottom picture) saw the bursts of color from a "comfortable" distance, as, for example, a News photographer's location in the open space at Spring St. and Sunset Rd. He took a time exposure (middle picture). Tens of thousands enjoyed the spectacle.
