Lines formed at Ann Arbor's polling places at 7 a.m. and many voters reported waits of 45 minutes to more than an hour. These pictures, taken about two hours after the polls opened, indicate patience was needed by those wishing to cast their ballots. At left is the line in front of the Forest Ave. Polling Place; at right [this photo] is a view of people ready to vote inside the Mary St. Polling Place.
