Description
"Bobby" was actually R. Ray Baker's son, Russell Ray Baker. Russell was born in Ann Arbor in 1927 and went on to earn a bachelor's, master's and doctorate from the University of Michigan. R. Ray Baker was managing editor of the Ann Arbor News and a columnist for the Booth Newspapers. His Bobby and the Professor columns were made into a series of five youth science books.
