FINANCIAL PREPAREDNESS
When a nation rearms, great demands are made upon the telephone. Defense work of government and industry requires expanded telephone service at once. Continued rapid service is vital, and your Telephone Company is equal to this emergency of national defense because of its traditional policy of preparedness. It is ready with experienced men and women; ready with a reasonable margin of facilities for growth. And being a part of the soundly financed Bell System, it is ready to obtain capital funds to pay for additional buildings, switchboards, cable and poles, whenever and wherever needed.
