Mrs. Henrietta Kappler
Mrs. Henrietta Kappler, 79-year-old wife of William H. Kappler, 3351 Pontiac Rd., owner of the Kappler Packing House, died early this morning at University hospital after an illness of one week.
The daughter of John and Margaret Ann McAllister, Mrs. Kappler was born May 19, 1866, in Vienna, Ontario. She was the last member of a family of nine children.
Mrs. Kappler came to Ann Arbor in 1894 and was married Dec. 22, 1897. She was a member of the First Baptist church for many years.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Albert B. Greiner, Mrs. Ray F. Wurster, and Mrs. William E. Staebler, all of Ann Arbor; a son, William J. Kappler of Ann Arbor; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Two sons, James M. and David M., preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Muehlig chapel, Rev. J. F. Linebaugh officiating. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery.
