It's a rare day in March when two Ann Arbor boys can get a chance to "ride" an antelope and black bear. The rare day came along for John Duford of 812 Granger Ave. (aboard the Antilocapra americana), and Roger Trombley of 1319 N. University Ave. (astride the Ursus americanus) when they found the beasts heading for the dump-heap. The stuffed animals were being discarded after being on exhibit for some 60 years in the University's Museum. The riders said it was "swell fun" (funus swellus).
