JOHN BERTSOS IS MARRIED TO SALINE GIRL

St. Paul’s Evangelical and Reformed Church in Saline was the setting Friday night for the marriage of Carol E. Rentschler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rentschler of Saline, and John N. Bertsos, son of Mrs. Bessie Bertsos of Hill St.

Rev. Alvin Siemson officiated at the ceremony.

For her wedding costume, the bride chose a blond satin, two-piece street-length dress. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses and chrysanthemums and wore matching flowers in her hair.

Attends Bride

Mrs.Robert Brackney of S. Ashley St., who attended her sister, wore an aqua crepe dress. Her bouquet was made of pink roses and carnations and white mums. She wore matching flowers in her hair.

Louis Bertsos of Spring St. acted as best man for his brother. Warren Rentschler of Saline, the brother of the bride, and Earl Exinger of Ann St. were the ushers

A reception in the church parlors followed the ceremony. Mrs. Newland Begole of Milan, a sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Howard Schuman of Whitmore Lake poured. Mrs. Louis Bertsos served the wedding cake and Mrs. Earl Exinger, another sister of the bridegroom, was in charge of the guest book.

Mr. Bertsos and his bride will make their home at 1212 Prescott Ave. She is a graduate of Saline High School and he was graduated from Ann Arbor High School. They both are employed at the King-Seeley Corp.
