Anne Joan Bertsos of Lawrence St. chose a white organdy gown in a waltz length for her marriage this morning to Raymond A. Yagle of Oswego St., son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil J. Yagle of Snyder, N. Y.
The Rev. John F. Bradley officiated at the 11 a.m. ceremony in the St. Mary’s Student Chapel.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Louis Bertsos of Chicago, Ill., carried white roses and stephanotis with ivy streamers as her bridal bouquet. She wore a lace Juliet cap to hold her illusion veil.
Her maid of honor was her sister, Helen Joan Bertsos of Chicago. Her gown was also organdy, but in yellow. In a waltz length, the skirt was edged in scalloped lace. Her bouquet was of white and yellow carnations, trailing ivy leaves.
J. Warren Yagle of Kenmore, N. Y., brother of the bridegroom, was his best man. Lewis John Bertsos of Chicago, William J. McCarville of Oswego St., Richard Creighton of Buffalo, N. Y., and Gunnard Danielson of Malibu, Calif., ushered.
A luncheon buffet at the Women’s City Club immediately followed the ceremony.
Miss Virginia Theriault of Lawrence St., Mrs. Mildred Malloy of Barton Dr., Mrs. James G. Berry of Parkwood Ave., Miss Cleo Rogers of Hamilton Pl., and Miss Dorothy Barber of Chicago served as hostesses.
Following a Canadian honeymoon of three weeks, the couple will make their home at 2707 Brockman Blvd. For traveling the bride chose a steel blue, glazed cotton coat dress trimmed in white linen. A navy blue hat and other accessories of white completed her costume.
Mrs. Yagle was graduated from the University School of Nursing and is a professional nurse at the Women’s Hospital.
Her husband, also a graduate of the University, is employed as a research engineer by the Engineering Research Institute here.
