Age 67, passed away this morning following an illness of several months. Born June 19, 1902, in Hillsdale, Michigan, she was the daughter of John and Jenny Bryan Schieck. Mrs. Soop had lived in Ann Arbor the past twenty years, coming here from Royal Oak. Mr. Soop is Director of the University of Michigan Extension Services. Mrs. Soop attended nurses’ training school at the University of Michigan and was a member of the Faculty Women’s Club. Surviving are: her husband; a half sister, Mrs. Dale (Agnes) Estell, and a half-brother, Arthur Herzog, both of Hillsdale; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday from the Muehlig Chapel. Cremation has been made. Memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
