Age 88, died Friday morning, April 4, 1980 at her residence following a long illness. She was born August 22, 1891 in Fostoria, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Margaret Roach. She was married to George J. Moe, who founded Moe’s Sport Shop on N. University, on August 10, 1914 in Ann Arbor and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1939. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Survivors include: two nieces, Miss Nellie Moe of Dearborn and Mrs. Allene B. Allmand of Ann Arbor; a grandniece, Mrs. John (Jo Anne) Reeves of Grand Rapids and a grandnephew, Charles M. Allmand of Ann Arbor. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Father Joseph M. Martinus officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Building Fund. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the chapel where the Rosary will be recited on Monday at 7 p.m.
