Moveable Feast in Chelsea is done
The end of last month, The Moveable Feast closed the doors of its cafe and bakery in Chelsea.
“Our management core is here in town, and we couldn’t give the store the kind of attention it wanted,” explained John Maxwell, director of food and beverages. “We felt we needed to concentrate on our wholesale bakery business and also focus on our Kerrytown shop.”
Store manager Elizabeth Douglas is now catering manager for the company, whose main restaurant has been at 326 W. Liberty St. since the mid-1980s.
