Tbe board of supervisors is in session this week. All of the supervisors answered to there names Monday. Supervisor Edwards, of Ypsilanti, was elected chairman pro tem. Supervisor Thomas Young, of Lyndon, was unanimously elected chairman of the board. On ïuesday thfe following standing committees were appointed : Equalization- Osborne, Hunter, Saee, Oesterlin and Hall. Criminal Claims, No. 1- Duncan, Case and Dancer. Criminal Claims, No. 2- Da venport Wheeler and Bruuu. Civil Claims- McQuillan, Gilbert and Forsyth. ■■ To Settle with founty Offleers - Watkitis, Miner and Speechley. On Salaries of County OfBcers- Jedele, Seott and Wülter. On Apportionment of State and County Taxes- Dav. nport, Gilbert and McQuillan. On Public Buildings- DePuy, Edwards and Shannon. On Reje&ted Taxes- Alber, Pond and Jedele, ToJExamine Accounts of Supt. of Poor- GUI, Scottand Bibbins. Ou Finanee- Braun. Syeechley and Oesterlin. On Fructional School Dietricts - Osboru, Wheeler and Gilí. On Drains- Duncan, Bibbins and DePuy. On Printing- Shannon. Pond and Alber. Oq Per Diem--Daucer, Edwards and Sage. The basis of equalization was fixed at $25,000,000, the same as last year. The board visited the county house yesterday and found everything in excellent order.
