Struck The Woman

Dexter, Mo., Oct. 10.- Joe Miller met his death at the hands of Lee Edwards at the home of the latter, seven miles southwest of Dexter. Miller and another young mad were returningfrom town considerably unaer the influence of liquor. They stopped at Edwards' house, ;alled him out and began abusing him. Sdwards went back into the house and ocked himself in. Miller and Wallace 'ollowed him into the house and went nto the house and attempted to break :he door down. Mrs. Edwards reuionstrated, when Miller knocked her down. i-áward8 then opéned the door and ired on Miller with a Winchester rifle, íiiling him instantly.
