Grand Rapids. Marcli 28.- The reports that the recent cold weather has seriously injured the1 fruit crops in western Michigan appears to have been greatly exaggerated. The Grand River Valley Horticnltural society, composed of farmers of Kent, Allegan and Ottawa counties, met here and displa}7ed samples of bnds taken from the trees. Experts pronounced them uninjured and the farmers feel sure of a good croD.
