Joe Base visited Detroit one day thi week. F. J. Hammond was a Detroit vis itor Monday. Wm. Ambrose.of Ypsilanti, was in town Thursday evening. Deputy Sheriff Lockwood, of Milan was in town Tuesday. Mrs. Lottie Barton is visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Thoma Ilerley. P. ld. O'Brien and family went to Blue Bush Saturday to attend the fun eral oí au uncle. Joe Base and wife visited Maybe Tuesday. M. C. Doty, of Carleton, was in town a few days last week. Frank Hayden, of Bellville, ha moved into one of John Lawson' house on Coal Kiln Ave. Lew Miller has purchased a lot from John Lawson upou which he will build a house and blacksmith shop. F. B. Horner's barn, three mile North of this place was destroyed by fire Tuesday evening of last week.
