Newberry's Insane Asylum

Caae of Newberry, president of the coniniission which will supervise the new asylum fosr the insane to be erected at that iplace, was here consulting with Secre'iary Storrs of the state board of charities relative to the plans f or the building. The plans for the plant, as it will probably eventually appear, cali for 16 cottages, powerhouse, etc, in the form of a hol w square, with the administration bailding in the center of the front row. With the appropriation uow .vailable it is proposed to erect three cottages, with lanndry and powerhotise, and install the heating, lighting and water plants. The balance of the equipment is expected to be supplied by eubsequent legislatures as the need for them becoiücs spparent.
