Mrs. Sunderland has changed her Bible class at the Unitarian church from Sunday noon to Sunday evening. She has begun a series of lectures which will run through the entire winter, upon "The Religious Thought ot the Great Writers of the Nineteenth Century." She began with the philosophers, having thus far spoken upon "Kant" and "Hegel. " Her subject next Sunday evening will be "Schleiermacher," to be followed on succeeding Sunday evenings by "Compte," "John Stuart Mili," and Herbert Spencer." Having considered the leading philosophers of the century, she will pass to the great poets, prose writers, scientists, preachers, novelists, etc.
