The courso i is straight and has been civref ully measured, but there is a stoep fall for au eighth oí' a mlle at the finish. The timers were T. J. Sayles, of Buffalo, Hiul ]'' rank Mavo, of tho Stearns team, at the start; T. Y. Eek at the first quarter; A. D. Kennedy and P. Sbehan, of Buffalo, at the half; C. M. Mnrphy, the raeer, and H. K. Stevenson at tlie thi-ee-quarters, and W. Stark, W. O. Lntz, and B. Van Velsor, all of Buffalo, at the finish. The quadruplet was ridden by C. H. Callahan, H. H. Seavey, Pat O'Connor, and W. A.
