The lateral sewer tax for District No. 3, or the Hill street district will be a heavy oue. It is fixed at $:Jfi.l8 on a $1,000 valuation, while District No. 4, or the Hurou street district will pay a tax of $15.95 per $1,000 valuatiou The wide difference in the rates of taxarion is caused by the fact that the Hnron street lateral runs entirely through valuable property, while the Hill street sewer runs through considerable property of small valuation. It costs just as much to build a sewer in front of property of low valuatiou at it does in front of property of high valuation. Consequently the sewer tax rate in the Hill street district is a very high one. So that if you own any valnable lots in that district you will have to sweat f or it.
