Made An Assignment
StracüSE, N. Y., April 23.- T. U. ana J. C. Miller, manufacturar of knit goods at Baldwinsville, have shut down their works and made an assignment to Thomas H. Benton Crane, oashier of the First National bank of Amsterdam and Willis Wendell, also of Amsterdam. The industry was the largest in Baldwinsvillo and gave employment to 300 men, boys, women and girl. Members of the flrin decline to give the amount of their assets and liabilities. Preferenoes are made for 66,000, exclusive of interest and the pay of employés. The latter have not been paid for seven weeks.
