Mrs. A. Pulver, .of Jackson, visited lier sisters, Mrs. Oreeu and Mrs. Olsaver, the past week. Mr. Weloh, of Henrietta, was called here this week to attend,the funeral of bis uucle, Mr. Valentine. Mr. and Mrs. Stearns Wheeler and Mrs. Charles Wheeler have been spendiug some time in Chicago. There will be a chioken pie social at the home of John Wheeler, Friday evening, Nov. 6. Everyone invited. For the benefit of the M. E. church. The Ladies' Aid Society held its aunual fair at the home of A. Valentine, last Satnrday evening. A large crowd attended and had a jolly time. Glbert Valentine, an old resident of this place, died Monday morniog, Oot. 26, aged 84 years. He was unmarried aad leaves one brother, Alfred Valentine.
