Fred Stabler has moved outo bis motber's farm. Mr. Linderman will work L. Ward'a farm this year. W. N. Lister, of Saline, made several calis hero last Friday. Miss Annie Morse has gone to Battle Creek to spend a few weeks. Mrs. F. Ward and son Clayton. have been epending a few days in Ann Arbor with Mrs. A. Stedman. William Dauoer died Maroh 18, aged 69 years. The funeral services were held at the bonse at 10 o'clock Sunday. Mr. Dancer leaves a wife, three daugbters and two sons. Lester L. Cooper, the oldest resident of Lima, died Satnrday at bis home in that towo, at the advanced age of 89 years. He was bom in Addison connty, Vt, Feb. 25, 1808, and was the oldest of a family of four children. With his parents and his three sisters he oame to this oonnty in 1839. He was flrst married in 1835. His wife died in 1860 and in 1864 he rnarried Mrs. Snsan Blanchard, a daaghter of Nicholas Dole, a former resident of this county. Mr. Cooper had no children except an adopted daughter, who witb his wife survives him. The funeral services were held at the house, Monday inorning, and were largely attended.
