Layton Buys A Famous Picture

Milwaukee, April 13.- It is announced that Frederick Layton purchased a Corot at the sale of the Tyler collection of paintings in New York last week. The picture is entitled "Landscape and Laks," and the price paid is $2,350. The picture, vvhieh was purchased by Mr. Tyler at the Corot sale in Paris in 1875, will be adder! to the collection in the Layton art gallery.
