Miss Frieda Schmid, of Rockland, III., is visiting relatives here. There is prospect of a new grocery store being opened on E. Jefferson st. Our supervisor, Wm. Burtless, has laid the foundation for a fine residence on Jefferson st. Geo. H. Ford and family have returned to Manchester. He will reopen his photograph gallery. Mrs. F. Vanderbilt and son, of Rossland, Ili., are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Schaible. Herman Stierle, who has for the last three weeks been clerking for Mack & Co., has returned to Ann Arobr.
