The Geddes Sensation Exploded
The Geddes mili pond sensation has flattoned cle?a ont. On Saturday Coroner Harrison Ball and Officer Reuben Armbraster went to Geddes and the gates of the dam were opened. By 4 o'clock the water in the millpond had dropped fully three feet. A thorougb search for tha body of the supposed woman was made along the fnll length of the pond. No suoh body, however, conld be found, the decayed flesh found on Thursday iiight of last week proved to be a tallow-like snbstance that had drifted down the river from the slaughterhonses and the pink calicó dress resolved itpslf into a piece of carpet about 42 feet long attached to a stuuip in the river.
