The Baldwin Lectures

The lectures on the Baldwin Foundation, under the auspices of the Hobart Guild, will be given this year by the Rev. William Prall, D. D. , Ph. D. , rector of St. John's church, Detroit, the general subject of the lectures is "The State and the Church." The individual subjects and dates are as follows :

1. "The Basis of the State," Sunday, Dec. 4.

2. "The Ancient State," Tuesday, Dec. 6.

3. "The Modern State," Thursday, Dec. 8.

4. "The State and the Church," Sunday, Dec. 11.

5. "The Law of the State," Tuesday, Dec. 13.

6. "The People," Thursday, Dec. 15.

The Sunday lectures will be given in St. Andrew's church at 7 :30 p. m. , and the week day lectures in Harris hall at 8 p. m. These lectures are free to the public.
