STANGER-BENDER

A very Happy Marriage Wednesday Evening.

The wedding of Johuathan Stangei and Miss Minnie L. , only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernhard Bender, No 415 S. Fourth ave., took place at the residence of the bride's parent. The decorations in the northwest parlor where the ceremony took place were elaborate consisting of smilax, cut flowers and potted plants. The bride couple during the ceremony stood under a floral canopy. The bride wore a gown of white organdie over a white satin, elaborately trimmed with ribbons and carried a bunch of white bride's roses. The bridesmaid' Miss  Lydia Stranger wore a gown of French mull over pink silk and carried a bunch of carnations. Miss Emma Fischer, presided at the piano, and at the entrance of the bridal procession played the wedding march from Lohengrin. After Rev. John Neumann of the Bothlehem church, pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Stanger man and wife the company sat down to a wedding supper. The happy couple left on the 9 :45 Michigan Central train for the east for a short honeymoon trip, expecting to be home the beginning of the week.

Their young friends accompanied them to the depot and showered them with rice expressive of their good wishes. They were well remembered by their many friends with a large number of handsome presents. Among the guests from out of town who were in attendance were Mrs. Ferdinand Schlessinger and son, oí Van Wert, Ohio; Miss Matilda Keek, of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hutzel, of Pittsfield, and Mrs. Wolfington, No. 414 Vinewood ave. , Detroit.
