I. Walker will address the graduatiug class at the coming Gomraencement of the law departmeat. - Four new editors of the Chronicle were elected on Saturday last : Messrs. Fred LBliss, Percy T. Cook, Willis K. Roberts and V. J. Teft, - the former two representing the "independeots," and the latter two the secret 80cieties. All are júniora. - A fountain on the campus : that is the memorial which the seniors are meditating, and it is talked that the graduating classes of the several departments may unite their mitcs and procure a worthier memorial at a less expense to the individual student than could be affordud bv a single department. - In nis iecture or discourse in University Hall on Sunday afternoon, Judge Coolsy discussed " The Decalogue," principally as a civil code, recognizing in it wisdom beyond the worldly wisdom of the age in which it was announced, in tact as the germ and basis of all true legislation,- and tliorefore as dirine. - Judge Cooley has been invited to deliver a coorse of lectures (twenty in uumber) on some law subject or branch of the law at the John Hopkins University, Baltimore. There are to be distinguished lecturers upon other subjects, mvitatious having been extended to Profs. Lowell, Childs, Whitney, Walker, and other scholars eminent in the saveral departmenU.
