- P. B. Loomis, ot the Junior class, Iims nceepted a position with a United States surveying party in Nevada and has resigned his position as Chronicle editor. - Mr8. C. A. Chapín of this city, has presented to the University the coininission of her father, the late Hon. James Kingsley, as Trustee of the Universit.y of Michigan. Theoomiuission wasiasutd Maren 3, 1831, by Lewis Cass, then (Jovernor of the Territory, and was also signed by John F. Mason, then Secretary of the Territory. It was recently found among the old papers of Judge Kingslcy.
