City Will Miss Her
THE communfty has losf; I an outstanding citizen in the death of Catherine "Kay" Crippen, in an automobile I accident Wednesday night in I Ohio. I Mrs. Crippen had long been interested in activities I of her church and had won I wide recognition for her concern for the elderly. Only recently she was elected to I the United Methodist Health and Welfare Certification Council and she was to have ?7 taken office tomorrow as vice chairman of the Detroit Conference Board of Health and Welfare Ministries of the United Methodist Church. She was an outstanding example of the many Ann Arbor women who successfully combine careers as wife and mother with that of civic leader. She gave much to the community and the tragic nature of her death adds to the sense of loss for those j who knew her. I
