HOOVER EMPLOYES COLLECT SCRAP: This pile of scrap metal, estimated to weigh three tons and containing iron, steel, brass, aluminum and other metals, was collected by employees of the Hoover Ball and Bearing Co. in a drive launched a week ago and continuing through this week. Employes were asked to bring scrap to work with them and deposit it in barrels at the plant gates. Plant trucks were used to pick up heavier scrap at employe's homes. Shown in front of the pile are some of the signs used to promote the drive throughout the factory.
