Caption:
William Parker, shelter manager at the Washtenaw County Humane Society, poses with a four-year-old Mexican burro named Eli which is up for adoption. The burro belonged to an area physician who used him to keep yard grass trimmed. When Eli out-lived his usefulness, the society was called. Parker says that he has had several inquiries- but no takers yet. It may suit "the man who has everything."
