IT'S A BEE SWARM! The folks standing cautiously on the south side of the 600 block of E. Liberty St. yesterday noon were watching Harold Foulks, a State Theater employee, beating on a pail to induce liberally thousands of bees to swarm -- from which position they were later trapped. The intrepid Foulks, who was not stung, played a successful tune. You might even call it bee-hop. This is the time of year bees are swarming.
